Insurance
Mike started his career in the life insurance industry in 1979. He focused on helping both individuals and business owners set and achieve their risk management goals. He has achieved the designations of CLU and ChFC. A CLU (chartered life underwriter) is a highly educated, experienced, and qualified insurance professional, committed to the financial well-being of your family, estate and your business insurance needs. “My unique ability lies in my capacity to visualize, communicate, and implement life insurance solutions in a wide variety of circumstances. My extensive education provides a basis for understanding the technical workings of complex financial tools.” Insurance strategies are a part of every client’s portfolio of financial solutions to protect the people and institutions they care about. Investments
Mike is a registered representative of Ameritas Investment Company, LLC. In this role he helps structure investments in managed investment accounts, mutual funds, variable annuities, stocks and bonds that are coordinated to help meet the long-range goals of the client. When structuring the investment mix for a client all aspects of the clients' goals are taken into account including time horizon, taxes, volatility and income needs. A well-balanced investment portfolio is something that needs ongoing review to maximize the opportunity for the client. Compensation from investment services is commission based only.
Planning
Mike is an Investment Advisor Representative of Ameritas Advisory Service, a Registered Investment Advisor. Mike provides investment advice and financial planning services for a fee. Mike is an accredited Financial Planner for individuals and for small and medium sized businesses. Mike uses his education as a ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), training, and experience in providing investment advice to individuals for a fee. For businesses he coordinates qualified and nonqualified plans with existing business succession plans to best suit both the business owner and the employees for maximizing retirement savings and planning controlled estate distribution. Using Business Exit Planning and Executive Compensation Strategies, he combines innovative experience with cutting edge business applications. This combination creates common sense solutions to the complex financial problems both of the business owner and the individual. In personal financial and estate planning Mike focuses on creating a sound financial plan which aims to protect and maximize the value of your overall goals. While each plan is unique, the area's most commonly addressed include investment allocation, retirement independence, survivor needs, income protection, long term care and estate planning. Compensation from planning services is fee based on hourly, flat fee or percentage of assets under management by contract with Ameritas Advisory Service.
