I began my career in the financial services business almost 40 years ago in Topeka, Kansas, and I’ve been in and around the Seattle area helping individuals, families, and businesses achieve their financial goals since 1990. My business is known as Issaquah Financial where I’m fortunate to work together with my lovely wife, Julia, who specializes in helping people with individual health and Medicare insurance plans.
I’ve earned the following professional designations in this industry which highlight my dedication to gaining a solid understanding of the subject matter I work with: ChFC – Chartered Financial Consultant, CLU – Chartered Life Underwriter and ChSNC – Chartered Special Needs Consultant.
It’s important to me that I develop lasting relationships with all my clients. I believe the best way to do this is by first understanding my client’s financial goals and circumstances before attempting to recommend a solution. By working in this manner, it is easy to provide clear, easy to understand explanations of the type of financial products and services that make the most sense for them.
When I’m not working, I enjoy biking, boating, fly fishing, playing bass guitar with my church worship band, traveling, spending time with family and my bearded Aussie-Doodle dog, Curly.
